Early History of the Villages Vintage Car Club

  • Our club, The Villages Vintage Car Club was established on January 29, 1999
  • Mission– The love of vintage cars/vehicles along with varied social and Philanthropic activities. Members can own or not own vintage cars
  • The original organizer was Bob Grant who had the vision for this club
  • At the second meeting on February 11, 1999, officers were elected. All officers serve a minimum of 12 months
    • President:   Ed Eure
    • Vice President Larry: Morrison
    • Treasurer: Mary Ann Morrison
    • Secretary: Alan Chambers
  • Dues were set at $10 per Year
  • Only The Villages residents can be members. The first 25 members are considered the Charter Members
  • Vehicles must be older than 25 years

The Vision of the Charter Members stand strongly today.
