Early History of the Villages Vintage Car Club
- Our club, The Villages Vintage Car Club was established on January 29, 1999
- Mission– The love of vintage cars/vehicles along with varied social and Philanthropic activities. Members can own or not own vintage cars
- The original organizer was Bob Grant who had the vision for this club
- At the second meeting on February 11, 1999, officers were elected. All officers serve a minimum of 12 months
- President: Ed Eure
- Vice President Larry: Morrison
- Treasurer: Mary Ann Morrison
- Secretary: Alan Chambers
- Dues were set at $10 per Year
- Only The Villages residents can be members. The first 25 members are considered the Charter Members
- Vehicles must be older than 25 years
The Vision of the Charter Members stand strongly today.
