The Villages Vintage Car Club needs some gift cards for donation to Veterans at Hospice and Palliative care units for preventive items from Corona Virus (COVID 19). I HAVE DCIDED TO MAKE IT A PERSONAL DUTY. I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE REIMBURSEMENT.
ALAN CAREY PRESIDENT

We will be meeting at Truman Rec. Center, Monday, November 16th at 6:00 P.M.
It looks like The Villages is allowing us to start Club Meetings again. We are also permitted to have the Cruise-Ins at Spanish Springs. As shown above, we are required to Social Distance and Wear Masks at all times. This will probably be the new normal for our future meetings as well. Please bring your own drinks. No refreshments will be served. Truman Rec Center will only allow 60 people in our meeting room. If you are not one of the first 60 to arrive, you will be asked to leave. The agenda for this meeting is to formally elect our new 2021 officers.
The 2021 dues will not be accepted at this meeting but, will be taken at the January meeting on January 18, 2021. All members that have access to a computer, please go to NEW MEMBER APPLICATION on the header. Click on the new member application and print the form. Bring the filled out form to the January meeting with your 2021 dues. This will help the Board of Directors/Treasurer update all our member information. If you do not have access to a computer, we will have copies available at our meeting on Monday for everyone to take home and fill out.
We will NOT HAVE A MEETING IN DECEMBER. There will be no prorated dues starting in 2021. This will be the policy for all members. There will be no 50/50 drawing at this meeting. We will start back in January. We do have a few important items to be voted on by our members.
The Cruise-in will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020, Remember that we meet in the lot behind the bowing alley around 2:00 P.M. This Cruise-in is being sponsored by Operation Shoebox. Please help this great organization by buying a 50/50 ticket.

The Covid-19 virus has increased in the number of cases in the last 3 days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday) to a total number of cases of 823 in the Tri-County Area. Instead of going down, it’s going up. As President, I feel it is imperative that our Web Site, TVVCC, NOT POST ANY CAR SHOWS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. I have received several calls from non-members in the last few days, that saw car shows for this Saturday on our Web Site and wanted information on how they can go to the Cruise-In Car Show at Spanish Springs. We have been posting car shows on a regular basis and I don’t want anyone getting the virus because they want to go to these shows. I don’t want any of our members or non-members to get sick because of our Web Site. There is no telling how many people view the web site and that is a scary thing. We don’t encourage anyone to go to the car shows, PERIOD. With that said, Diana and I continue to Pray for Everyone, and if you need our help, we are just a phone call away. Call us at 817-991-8644 if you need help with anything.
COVID19 UPDATES: We can say one thing for certain: This year will go down in HISTORY BOOKS. It looks like our Club won’t be meeting at Truman Rec. Center, in the near future. We have been told that it will be at least this Fall before the villages will allow any group events.
With all this being said, we have a couple off site events happening if anyone is interested in attending.
Old Town, www.myoldtownusa.com in Kissimmee, Florida, is beginning car shows on June 12th. You can go to their web site for more details. Just click on the link.
The Sonic Cruise-In is on the second Wednesday of each month from 5:00-7:00 PM.
The Chatum Glen Car Show that was posted for June 13th, HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19
