Dear Members,
Since we did not have a meeting in February due to illness, we weren’t able to set up a pot-luck dinner for the March meeting. Therefore, we have decided to have Pizza from NYPD and salad for the March 20th monthly meeting. We will need a head count so that we can place an accurate order. Ken Lohr’s February Drive and Dine did not get a good turnout. When our members take the time to set up a luncheon, please make an effort to attend. Bob Schlenk is setting up a Drive and Dine for March. We will be diving to Lena’s Seafood, in Ocala with a beautiful backroads cruise. THE 75TH Anniversary of the Ocala Drive-In scheduled for March 11, is cancelled due to a Family illness. A new date has not been announced at this time.
March 18th, Cruise in Spanish Springs.
Saturday, April 15 @ Spanish Springs. The Villages Vintage Car Club is the featured car club. They would like a head count ASAP. Please call Pam if you plan to attend.
April 29, our club will be part of the Brownwood Paddock Square Car Club Showcase. We are allowed 24 cars around the square. The first 24 will be confirmed. An alternate list will be started in case someone is unable to attend.
We will discuss the Lake Sumter “Night on the Square” at our March meeting.
If we do not get a good turnout at the meeting or any of these events, we will assume there is little interest in keeping the club alive and we will then, donate the monies in the checking account to charity. As you know, JoAnn, Bonnie & Pam are trying to keep our club alive. We need all your help in order for this club to survive.
