HEADS UP – CLUB MEMBERS

We are having a Drive and Dine,  Sunday,  August 19

We are going to Terry’s Place in Ocala,  The Home Of the

BIG ASS BURGER

Please meet at Mulberry Grove Rec. Center at the East  end of parking lot at 3:00 PM , with a 3:15 PM  departure. We will be taking a drive east on route 42 and turn north through the forest and arrive at Terry’s Place in about an hour.

This is an incredible “joint” with the ‘best belly buster burger”  (yes, a 1 lb. burger) and/or the best wings, chicken strips and salads in the area.  They also have several other sandwiches, ribs etc.  Prices are incredible and the quality and quantity  of food is unmatched.

This may have to limited to the first 50 signees depending on response.  If the weather is not conductive to our vintage cars, please feel free to come in your regular family drive.

Vintage Car Club Activities

The Schedule is starting to pick up so we would like to give all the members an update.

TODAY at 5:00 PM   We will be showing our cars at Sonic (next to Walmart on 27/441)  We will have food discount cards and a chance of winning a gift card or trophy.  The judging is done by the Sonic employees.  The manager is a big car supporter and there is lively conversation to be had with your fellow VCC Members.

Saturday,  July 14th  4pm-8pm and Sunday,  July 15th  9am-1pm.  We will be showing our vehicles at Metro Dinner on 466 in front of Walmart.  Alex has done a lot of work setting up this 2 day event.  There will be Coffee, water, doughnuts, and more for our members.  We will be collecting donations for Wounded Veterans.  If you’re not able to show your car, stop by and give your support.

Monday, July 16th at 6:00 PM   We will have our regular club meeting.  We will have Frank  Ross with the Villages Daily Sun Wheels section.  Frank will be giving tips on the best way to photograph your car and  relate some of his personal experiences with the Daily Sun.

We will also be having Bingo and refreshments.

Hope to see you at some of these activities.
