Holy Jokers Batman, it’s a Poker Run. The weather could not have been better. The Villages Vintage Car Club held a poker run Sunday Feb 28.  Seventy five members started at Odell Rec Center and followed the Alan Carey route. The teams navigated for about 2 hours thru The Village’s streets in there hot rods and vintage autos. They picked up clues from the neighborhoods and followed the cue sheets and hit all 5 stops for cards to make the best poker hand. The teams — driver and navigator– turned in their answers to the cue sheet questions when they arrived at the last point on the route. Competition was intense. Three team were tied and had to go to the tie breaker rounds. Subs, chips, and drinks for all. Finally the winners announced and best poker hand revealed. Smiles everywhere.
